So, went to Universal Studios today with Rebmakash (or Amber) and had some fun.
And, being in the right frame of mind, we avoided the grand opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter like the plague.
Not because I don't wanna see it, but because a 7 hour+ wait isn't my idea of a fun day!
So, we cruised to the park and before Amber had to leave, we did; Revenge of the Mummy, Amity Island Jaws Tour, The Simpsons Ride and Shrek 4D before work called her away.
In the afternoon, I got to try out the Rip Ride Rockit, Twister, Disaster Studios, Men in Black and Terminator 2 3D.
Rip Ride Rockit was a blast. Had to ride it twice. I love how you customize the ride with your choice of music, and the vertical starting hill is freaky.
Disaster Studios, I got selected to be a villian actor and was told I was the 'annoying character' that by the rules of disaster movies, I was to die. Thoguh all three of us villains died in the final cut (crushed by rubble)... and the sweet old grandma too, who was kileld by lightning.
The park was fun and I had a good time. I shall visit Islands of Adventure in the future, but today would have been suicide!
