Sooo...
I've now left the merry USA, and have travelled to England.
Yay for more jetlag!
At any rate, the flight from Andy's place was alright. Chicago airport though, was a nightmare to navigate. The 'clear directions' to find the shuttle weren't very clear in my opinion and the lack of store on the other side of security (as in, there were none!), was awful.
Oh well, at least the flight couldn't be bad, right?
Very uncomfortable seats, a buggy entertainment system that somehow switched me mid movie from an animated movie to some gory horror and paper thin blankes that I froze under trying to sleep...
I was glad to get off.
Wait, what? I need to fly with them again later?! Nooooooooooooooo...
Oh well, now for the good part of the post!
My uncle here in London took me on a river cruise down the Thames river which was fun (apart from my jetlag) and got some sightseeing done.
I slept really well that night.
And now today, I met up with two old friends I used to know, ine I haven't seen in 10 years. We hung out and saw a bit of London, sightseeing, laughing, catching up with each other and them perving at the girls (honest to God, I wasn't).
It was great to meet up with them again after so long...
One funny moment had them skipping down the road, singing the old Warehouse jingle...
At any rate, tomorrow's off to Scotland, and from there, who knows!
